while installing the errata for 3.3.1.14 on a master nodes the system tries to upgrade etcd from 2.3.7 to 3.0.15.
As it's OCP 3.3 it should stay with etcd 2.3.7, AFAIK as etcd 3.x comes with OCP 3.4 up to https://access.redhat.com/node/2176281.

No, etcd 3.0 is fine with all versions of OCP.
