Description Jiří Vymazal 2017-03-14 12:55:14 UTC
Description of problem:
When net.getLocalHostname(&name) func return NULL during rsyslog startup, rsyslog crashes short time after that with segfault. This situation is improbable, however possible, see linked CentOS bug.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
any v7 rsyslog

Comment 2 Jiří Vymazal 2017-03-14 12:57:54 UTC
Also worth noting that this does not affect v8 rsyslog (linking rebase issue)
