Prior to this update, incorrect dynamic relocations were calculated by the linker when linking position-independent executable files for the 32-bit AMD and Intel architecture. As a consequence, the resulting executable files could not be executed. With this update, the linker code has been corrected, and no longer produces faulty position-independent executable files for the 32-bit AMD and Intel architecture.
