Fixed In Version: gfs2-utils-3.1.9-3.el7_3.1 Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
Certain storage devices report optimal I/O size values that are not divisible by their reported minimal I/O size value. Previously, the mkfs.gfs2 and gfs2_grow commands attempted to align GFS2 resource groups to unsuitable boundaries. As a consequence, mkfs.gfs2 failed, and gfs2_grow sometimes terminated unexpectedly with a segmentation fault. With this update, mkfs.gfs2 and gfs2_grow no longer attempt to align resource groups to unsuitable boundaries, and the described problems no longer occur.
