Comment 2 xiagao 2017-04-05 08:16:46 UTC
PREWHQL VERSION: virtio-win-prewhql-135

Comment 3 ybendito 2017-04-09 16:02:07 UTC
Please ensure for 2008 you use HCK 1.6 and install latest _HCK_ filters as described in

https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/hardware/hh998024(v=vs.85).aspx

Looking at filter content (UpdateFilters.sql), we can see this failure is described exactly as happens:
SELECT @FilterId = Id FROM Filter WHERE FilterNumber = 4975 AND Version = 1
	VALUES(4975, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0, @TestCommandLineId, 'NDISTest 6.0 - [1 Machine] - 1c_WMICoverage due to: Unable to query error = 0x80041008', 'The 1c_wmicoverage test is too strict on private WMI providers and provides little value. ', 'This is an acceptable failure. ', '2020-12-30T16:00:00')
	VALUES(@FilterId, 'Error', '', 'Unable to query error = 0x80041008', 'UserText', 0, 0, @ParentLogNodeId)
VALUES(@FilterId, 'Error', '', 'Unable to obtain class name from guid', 'UserText', 0, 0, @ParentLogNodeId)

If _everything_ seems correct, please attach submission file

Fixed in virtio-win-prewhql-0.1-136

Comment 7 Peixiu Hou 2017-05-06 00:46:57 UTC
Tried this issue with virtio-win-prewhql-136 and -M pc, tried 3 times, hit BSOD 1 time(occurred on Client machine), and passed 2 times.

The dump file pls download from this location:

Comment 8 ybendito 2017-05-06 20:37:25 UTC
Please confirm the test 1c_wmicoverage passes with build 136.
Please confirm the BSOD is not related to test 1c_wmicoverage.
If both are correct, please close the bug.
