Please see the upstream discussion of the issue and why it makes us unable to build OpenJDK (9, but will affect 8 too) with GCC:

Can you please backport this patch to Fedora 26 and rawhide so we can continue building OpenJDK with stap support?

Backported Jakub's sys/sdt.h patch; a new build is underway for f26.
