Description Jan Busa 2017-04-09 15:51:21 UTC
Description of problem: On the mentioned Slovak keyboard layouts closing bracket - ) is missing. This makes entering text quite difficult as one needs to switch to english or some other layout to enter this character.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 25, but probably also other versions

How reproducible:
Set keyboard layout to Slovak (extended backslash) or Slovak (querty, extended backslash)

Expected results:
I think proper place for closing bracket is at the "backslash" key left from the Enter, where it resides for Slovak layout or Slovak (querty) layout. Now on this key are two ways of placing pipe - |

Keyboard data is provided by xkeyboard-config, and you should file a bug report in its upstream bug tracker: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=xkeyboard-config&component=General

Thank you for pointing me to the right component. I have filed the bug there (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100630), so I'm closing it here to avoid duplicates.
