Description Mo Morsi 2017-04-25 22:37:14 UTC
As it stands, CloudForms does not include any ReFS filesystem detection or support in its smart state analysis feature. The product should be expanded so as to report of the existence of ReFS filesystems found, for subsequent processing

Perform SSA on MS-SCVMM provider and I am getting result as ReFS filesystem is not supported.

Comment 8 Mo Morsi 2018-01-15 23:08:49 UTC
Hi Leo, as it stands the Smart State Analysis skips the analysis of any ReFS partitions it finds. This is due to there being limited public understanding of the internal ReFS filesystem structure. I did some preliminary analysis a while back, but the effort got sidelined due to other priorities.

If you'd like to help on that front let me know and I can point you to the relevant docs / disk modules which you can experiment with.
