It works correctly to me if I downgrade accountsservice to 0.6.35-12, but it doesn't work with 0.6.45-1. Also the following doesn't work: dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.Accounts /org/freedesktop/Accounts org.freedesktop.Accounts.UncacheUser string:"user@realm" So I suppose it is bug in accountsservice. Maybe some patches which were backported due to Bug 1244932 are not yet part of the rebased version? This is caused by the following commit: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/accountsservice/commit/?id=177509e9460b149ecbf85e75c930be2ea00b7d05 Just a note that deleted accounts disappear from cache after restarting of accounts-daemon service... This works well with freeIPA users. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
