Description Viraj Alankar 2000-07-22 23:12:55 UTC
I seem to be getting the following logged to syslog whenever a user logs
in on the console:

Jul 22 18:49:58 mikrosopht pam_console[6594]: console tty1 is owned by UID
0
Jul 22 18:49:58 mikrosopht pam_console[6594]: console tty1 is a character
device
Jul 22 18:53:25 mikrosopht pam_console[6594]: console tty1 is a character
device

This started happening only after upgrading to pam-0.72-20 on RH 6.1.

Are these messages normal?
