volume profile 3.2 renames
upstream patch : https://review.gluster.org/17465 downstream patch : https://code.engineering.redhat.com/gerrit/108901 Verified the issue with 3.8.4-28 with samba 4.6.3.3 packages. The renames operations has been resolved and is showing an increment. Hence marking it verified. Created attachment 1278904 [details] rename 3.3 volume profile Description of problem: 16% drop in smallfile renames on SMB v3 from 3.2 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.8.4-24 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a smallfiles using parameter "rename" using 4 clients and4 server 2. compare the throughput/files read with last two release 3.2 and 3.3 Actual results: regression observed over the two releases 3.2 & 3.3 Expected results: no regression should be observed or the drop should be between -5% Additional info:
