Since I cannot reproduce the problem on my system, I made a test build applying a proposed patch from upstream (https://github.com/Beep6581/RawTherapee/issues/3885).

Can you please test it and see if it solves the problem? You can use the copr repository https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/mattia/Rawtherapee-test/ or download and install the rpm file from there.
