When Firefox UI is is freezed, Firefox used 100% of CPU.

Comment 4 Martin Stransky 2017-05-31 10:40:41 UTC
That's a freeze in mozilla::storage::Connection::prepareStatement(), Firefox may access your profile and something went wrong. Can you please try to create a new fresh profile (by $firefox -ProfileManager) and check if it also hangs?

Comment 5 robberphex 2017-06-01 02:18:08 UTC
After I created a new profile(and deleted old one),

Firefox still hangs occasionally.(it hangs during I edit this comment :( )

Comment 6 Martin Stransky 2017-06-01 08:58:26 UTC
Thanks. Can you please test a binary downloaded directly from Mozilla.com? And/or please test flatpak nightly package from https://firefox-flatpak.mojefedora.cz/. The problem may be caused by system sqlite which is enabled on Fedora 26.

Comment 7 Paul DeStefano 2017-06-03 03:26:44 UTC
I've been having this problem a lot since F26 upgrade, too. I am now using FF53.0.3 binary from Mozilla I just downloaded. Seems better already, but can't be sure yet.

Comment 8 robberphex 2017-06-04 05:31:50 UTC
While using Firefox binary from mozilla.com, I haven't meet this bug again.

Comment 9 Martin Stransky 2017-06-09 09:42:49 UTC
Let's switch to in-tree sqlite in next update - Firefox 54.

Comment 10 Paul DeStefano 2017-07-01 08:33:11 UTC
So, I just had a hang using mozilla binary FF54.0.1. So, that's concerning.

Comment 11 Paul DeStefano 2017-07-01 08:34:30 UTC
Hmm, I can drag my window, though.

Comment 12 Martin Stransky 2017-07-12 07:27:44 UTC
Okay, please reopen if you see such issue again.
