Description vvs 2005-01-21 11:47:56 UTC
Description of problem:

Textures sometime disappear when lament 3D screensaver is running.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

xorg-x11-6.8.1-12.FC3.21
kernel-2.6.10-1.741_FC3

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. on a PC with i815E chipset
2. cd /usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver
3. ./lament

Actual results:

When the cube is beginning to transform the affected textures will disappear

Expected results:

The textures should be transformed as needed

Additional info:

This doesn't happen on i865GV chipset and it didn't happened with previous
versions of Fedora AFAIK. This happens with stock FC3 xorg and kernel as well,
so the bug was there from the beginning

Thanks for the report. This seems like it would be a generic problem
in X.Org, rather than a Red Hat specific problem. Please report
this issue to X.Org/DRI/Mesa developers, by filing a bug report in
the X.Org bugzilla located at http://bugs.freedesktop.org in the
"xorg" component. Be sure to include the full details of the problem
in your X.Org report, and attach your X server log file, config file,
and /var/log/messages from a session which these problems occur in.

Once you have filed your issue to X.Org, please paste the URL here,
and Red Hat will track the bug report in the X.Org tracker, and
review any fixes that become available for consideration in future
updates.

Thanks in advance.

Setting status to "NEEDINFO", awaiting the upstream bug URL.

Thanks for the URL. Setting status to "UPSTREAM" for tracking and
followups in the X.Org bugzilla.
