Description Lutz Weinhold 2017-06-06 08:15:03 UTC
Description of problem:

After updating hdhomerun-0.0-0.29.20150615.fc24.x86_64 to the latest package hdhomerun-0.0-0.31.20161117.fc25.x86_64 tvheadend will not start:

tvheadend[19586]: /usr/bin/tvheadend: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/tvheadend: undefined symbol: hdhomerun_discover_find_devices_custom

I did the downgrade to hdhomerun-0.0-0.29.20150615.fc24.x86_64 and everything runs smooth. I'm not using hdhomerun, but tvheadend's dependencies require this package to be installed.

Tvheadend is in RPM Fusion. A bug asking to rebuild it needs to filed at bugzilla.rpmfusion.org.

Comment 2 Lutz Weinhold 2017-06-06 11:29:02 UTC
Thanks, the rpmfusion tvheadend package has been compiled against the current hdhomerun package and it is working fine now!
