Description Sagar Lutade 2017-06-14 14:51:44 UTC
Description of problem:

On Satellite 6.2.8 running # hammer host package upgrade-all does not generate an audit record.

For example:
hammer host package upgrade-all --host <hostname>

Satellite webUI -> Monitor -> Audits -> Select the hostname

In the details tab, It reflects 'Global status' Old 1, New 0.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Satellite 6.2.8

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run the hammer command from the satellite CLI.
2.hammer host package upgrade-all --host <hostname>
3.This will update all the packages available and list once finished.

Actual results:
Hammer will list the packages after completing the task on the host.

Expected results:
Satellite webUI -> Monitor -> Audits // Expected to see an audit report detailing the full package actions taken place (i.e. installed, updated, obsoleted, removed).

Additional info:
NA.

The Satellite Team is attempting to provide an accurate backlog of bugzilla requests which we feel will be resolved in the next few releases. We do not believe this bugzilla will meet that criteria, and have plans to close it out in 1 month. This is not a reflection on the validity of the request, but a reflection of the many priorities for the product. If you have any concerns about this, feel free to contact Red Hat Technical Support or your account team. If we do not hear from you, we will close this bug out. Thank you.
