1.9 has one backwards incompatible change, so I will only put it in Rawhide:

Pyramid 1.9 has two new dependencies, and neither are packaged for Fedora:

I've filed https://github.com/Pylons/pyramid/issues/3114 to request a git tag for the 1.9 release.

A preliminary patch for 1.9

Here is a preliminary patch for updating pyramid to 1.9. We can't do that until the two new dependencies are in Fedora.
