Description Tim Fletcher 2005-02-01 13:36:50 UTC
Description of problem:

Would it be possible to include the current 2.6 version of the skas
patch in the fedora core kernel. This would aid people wanting to run
uml processes on top of Fedora Core. The current 2.6.10 patch from
BlaisorBlade applies cleanly (a few offsets no failures) against the
current core 2 and 3 kernel trees

The patch I am using is from here, there is also a broken out version
available.

http://www.user-mode-linux.org/~blaisorblade/patches/

It might also be worth considering the sysemu patches from
sysemu.sf.net but they seem to be more out of date and don't apply
cleanly to the current kernel trees.

not unless it gets merged upstream.
