Description fridtjof.neuber 2017-07-11 07:44:58 UTC
Description of problem:

The Images which provide the icons are not correctly sized.

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps/ghemical.png --> 48x48
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/ghemical.png --> 48x48
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/ghemical.png --> 48x48

All the icons use the same picture sized in 48x48 pixels.

How reproducible:
The problem is reproducible through reinstalling.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change resolution of the icons to the correct ones.
2. Reinstall the ghemical package.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ghemical-3.0.0-4.fc26

Comment 1 René Genz 2018-03-11 18:33:40 UTC
Still around in Fedora 28 in a Xfce session with this version:
$ rpm -q ghemical
ghemical-3.0.0-8.fc28.x68_64

The 16x16 and 32x32 files are duplicated from 48x48. Removing the duplicated files seems to be the best solution to this problem:

Comment 2 Fedora End Of Life 2018-05-03 08:01:07 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 26 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 26. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version'
of '26'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora 26 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora
version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Comment 3 Mamoru TASAKA 2018-05-04 01:29:27 UTC
I tried to figure out the origins of these icons, but it failed (as for now). Also, the sizes of these icons have been wrong since these icons are imported into Fedora "CVS" (era).

Instead I decided to regenerate icons from ghemical source.
