The bug this was cloned from was intended to be moved to installer component anyway. closing this.

@scott,

I think they are not duplicate. Original bug will still track removing "-v /var/lib/docker:/var/lib/docker" mount.

This bug will take care of installing oci-umount (and possibly runc) from installer.

Comment 4 Vivek Goyal 2017-07-13 01:17:06 UTC
Ok, looks like you are taking care of both in a single bug. That's fine too.

Comment 5 Scott Dodson 2017-07-13 01:20:52 UTC
I wasn't able to follow all of the discussion on IRC, is there any reason *not* to install oci-umount and runc when upgrading to OCP 3.6?

Comment 6 Vivek Goyal 2017-07-13 11:36:40 UTC
There is a small possibility that some software/container broke down due to oci-umount because we took away /var/lib/docker/devicemapper and /var/lib/docker/containers/ mount points from container. So we will have to keep an eye for that.

Can't think of any downside of installing runc.
