EPEL 7 entered end-of-life (EOL) status on 2024-06-30.\n\nEPEL 7 is no longer maintained, which means that it\nwill not receive any further security or bug fix updates.\n As a result we are closing this bug.

This remains a bug in Fedora 43 because RedHat does not apply a patch that fixes catdoc REL_0_95 that Debian (Debian bug 867717) and I think openSUSE do. It should be reopened.

FYI my fork of catdoc at https://github.com/skierpage/catdoc incorporates debian/patches/0005-CVE-2017-11110.patch and many other fixes to CVEs, address sanitizer errors, and other bugs.
