Hi Kevin, No feedback from Nova so far. There is some vhost-user information now available as of this commit in OVS 2.9

AFAIK, due to upstream wanting to also migrate between kernel space vhost and vhost-user, some more design is needed in other layers. There is no outstanding requests to openvswitch atm.
Hi Maxime, do you know the status of the proposal? Is anything needed from openvswitch or can we close this Bz? We can re-open if something is needed in future. Maxime and I discussed on irc. The proposals have changed and nothing needed from OVS now and it's not envisaged there will be. |
