Icedtea web 1.7 was released 20.7 2017 - http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/distro-pkg-dev/2017-July/038476.html

Both rhel 7 and 6 now have ITW 1.6 I would advise to rebase ITW to 1.7 (or 1.8 if released in meantime) for rhel 6.X
