Description w-495 2017-08-19 02:44:36 UTC
Description of problem:
May be a problem connected with parted only.
I've only tryed to move and resize partions on /des/sda.
These partitions are ok now, but the parted and gparted are not.

Comment 12 Mukundan Ragavan 2017-08-21 21:57:01 UTC
Can you try this with just parted and see if works?

Also, can you provide more info on the moving actions you are trying so that I can try to replicate the issue?

Comment 13 Mike Fleetwood 2017-09-03 13:56:56 UTC
If I understand the backtrace correctly, GParted is crashing when it is
reading the hard drive /dev/sda for the first time.

Please provide the following:
    su -
    parted /dev/sda print
    fdisk -l /dev/sda
    lsblk -o name,maj:min,rm,size,ro,type,fstype,label,mountpoint

Thanks,
Mike Fleetwood (GParted Developer)
