Description Justin Sherrill 2017-08-29 20:36:28 UTC
Description of problem:

Sometimes the dynflow executor can be overloaded and not process things quickly enough. And that can be hard to detect. If the hammer ping command would tell us how many 'steps' are ready for execution but awaiting a free spot in the pool we could identify when there is just too much work to do and possibly increase the # of workers (or at least it would aid in determining a root cause).

I'm not sure the `hammer ping` is the right place, as it's added by katello and not extendable. Would something like `hammer task status` work for you?

This is available via the dynflow console, which i think is sufficient at this point. Closing as WONT_FIX
