Description jeskenis 2017-09-11 12:21:38 UTC
I've noticed a bit annoying bug in Xfce's garcon package - in complex menu hierarchies where main menu has submenus (but no desktop files in it) the main category is not being shown at all. This bug has been reported a while back and has been patched:

https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11801

Is there a chance this patch hits Centos repos anytime soon? If not can anyone guide me how can I apply the patch myself?
Here's example of the bug in action:
program menu applet (thus uses garcon), Sidefx menu is not being shown:

right click program menu (so no garcon), menus displayed correctly:

Would be awesome to get patched version of the garcon package in epel.

Ah! Garcon on epel is old (v 0.4) while Fedora is 0.6.

Let me see if I can update garcon without breaking everything else.
