Description David Shea 2017-09-12 22:15:17 UTC
Description of problem:
ghc-base-orphans-0.6-1 is currently in 26/updates, but the only version of distributive available in the 26 repos is built against 0.5.4-1

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ghc-distributive-0.5.2-1.fc26.x86_64
ghc-base-orphans-0.6-1.fc26.x86_64

Thanks, I noticed too: I will try to fix this.

It is a shame bodhi doesn't block dependency breakage yet.
I hope Greenwave will help...

Comment 2 Elliott Sales de Andrade 2017-09-13 06:24:27 UTC
Oh, I didn't realize this was already in F26, or I would not have pushed it yet (like 1489153 with ghc-cryptonite and ghc-memory).

It's okay - though generally I would suggest to avoid version bumps for
current Fedora releases to avoid this kind of churns.

Thanks for your work on Haskell packaging!
