Are you sure that the samlogon cache is populated so that we have correct information?

You can use 'wbinfo -a' to do that!

Could you start clean log level 10 logs and run:

date; wbinfo --sid-to-gid S-1-5-21-1707465932-1910462521-372844930-4053

This should result in an error, but we should see what is going wrong in the logs  ...
