Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

We need gluster-block plugin to be included in rhel-7.5 as well as rhel-7.4.z . debugging can be easy if its included in sos report.

Comment 3 Pavel Moravec 2017-09-15 07:34:31 UTC
In case we will rebase sos to soon-to-be-released upstream 3.5 (see 1484076), this shall appear in 7.5 "gratis".

If not I will backport (in case QE will have capacity or OtherQE happen)

Does it mean you require 7.4.z also? (then you should raise 7.4.z? flag).

Note that this is in fact RFE (new plugin) what generally can't be accepted into RHEL z-stream. What blocks layered products with different release schedule and requiring some new functionality from RHEL / sos.. (I mean it can be tricky to get pm_ack for the z-stream BZ)

In case you request also 7.4.z fix, please:
- raise that flag
- provide business justification for the request to support the PM decision
- optionally, add OtherQE keyword in case you are able to verify this BZ (to ensure qe_ack is granted - even in a case our QE wont have capacity)

Comment 7 Pavel Moravec 2017-10-10 11:19:04 UTC
dist-git commit 21a684f7b2a581a8d6c7596fd788ff3726787dd9

Comment 9 Pavel Moravec 2017-11-02 15:16:13 UTC
Fixed via sos 3.5 rebase.
