Description Zdenek Kabelac 2017-09-20 15:03:41 UTC
Description of problem:

When user is creating cache-pool/cache or thin-pool without presence of tools configured in lvm.conf - it leaves user in trouble-some position of having volumes that cannot be reactivated next time user needs them - which is mainly for cached LVs problematic as user will experience message like:

# lvchange -ay vg
/usr/sbin/cache_check: execvp failed: No such file or directory
Check of pool vg/lvol2 failed (status:2). Manual repair required!
