Description Kevin Fenzi 2017-09-23 17:25:07 UTC
util-linux-2.31-0.1 has some conflicts with bash-completion, which leads to rawhide composes failing (because it cannot make the Workstation live media).

Error is:

pyanaconda.payload.PayloadError: Payload error - DNF installation has ended up abruptly: Transaction check error:
file /usr/share/bash-completion/completions/rfkill conflicts between attempted installs of bash-completion-1:2.6-2.fc27.noarch and util-linux-2.31-0.1.fc28.x86_64

I have untagged this util-linux build for now so we get rawhide going again, please coordinate with bash-completion before pushing it again. Thanks!

This really isn't working, isn't there any coordination at all?

blueberry has broken dependencies in the rawhide tree:
On x86_64:
	blueberry-1.1.15-5.fc28.noarch requires rfkill
On armhfp:
	blueberry-1.1.15-5.fc28.noarch requires rfkill
On ppc64le:
	blueberry-1.1.15-5.fc28.noarch requires rfkill
On aarch64:
	blueberry-1.1.15-5.fc28.noarch requires rfkill
On ppc64:
	blueberry-1.1.15-5.fc28.noarch requires rfkill
On s390x:
	blueberry-1.1.15-5.fc28.noarch requires rfkill
On i386:
	blueberry-1.1.15-5.fc28.noarch requires rfkill
Please resolve this as soon as possible.

The blueberry issue should fixed by util-linux-2.31-0.4.fc28 where rfkill is enabled again and Obsolete and Provides is set properly.

Comment 4 Karel Zak 2017-10-09 09:37:02 UTC
Re-assign to bash-completion as it seems we need to backport upstream
https://github.com/scop/bash-completion/commit/d962f3a3be2b5c3811e546890c99b19694c2a08e

to Fedora. Thanks.

Thank you for fixing it quickly.
