Description Matt Benjamin (redhat) 2017-09-27 21:08:55 UTC
Description of problem:
An upstream RGW NFS user reported that he had observed a Linux NFS client, mount -osync, re-sending an already-sent write segment overlapping a page boundary, along with a fix which detects and corrects this special case. Since this case looks to the NFS server identical to one where an application does the same thing (e.g., we've observed gnu tar to do this when writing into NFS space), the fix for this bug also widens application coverage slightly.

How reproducible:
Not consistently reproducible.
