Description of enhancement:

1) In VM tab, select a VM
2) In lower pane, select Events tab
3) Select an Event with a non-blank Correlation ID
4) Right-click > Details

Enhancement is to add the correlation ID to the Event Details window

Additional info:

This allows easier copy/paste of the correlation ID

Are you talking about webadmin (assuming from description) or ovirt-web-ui (selected as Component)? Also is there a customer case behind this RFE? If yes, please attach it, otherwise please move RFE to upstream oVirt.

This request has been proposed for two releases. This is invalid flag usage. The ovirt-future release flag has been cleared. If you wish to change the release flag, you must clear one release flag and then set the other release flag to ?.

The enhancement has been implemented on 4.4.0-0.20.master.el7 with ovirt-engine-ui-extensions-1.0.13-1.el7ev.noarch except that on this version you don't access event details window via a right click but via a double left click.

This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.4.0 release, published on May 20th 2020.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in oVirt 4.4.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE.

If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report.
