Description Jarek Polok 2017-10-05 13:39:12 UTC
Dear django supporters:

At present (after django14 has been removed from EPEL6) there is no django
version available at all for EPEL6 (while additional python-django-* packages are still there with unmet dependencies)

Would it be possible to have django re-added on 6 ?

Thanks

Jarek

I agree, unmet dependencies should not happen.

But:

I would strongly vote to keep it removed. Here is why: Recent Django requires python2.7 or greater. RHEL6 has python-2.6. I would only add LTS versions of Django, all others will receive roughly 18 months of security updates.
