Description Nicholas Miell 2005-03-01 21:33:26 UTC
In the recently released Pango-enabled Firefox errata package for FC3, spaces
between italicized text and an italicized hyperlink are sometimes lost.

See attached image for an example. I verified that the original HTML does
contain spaces between the text and the anchor.

What fonts are you using for your sans and sans-serif fonts in your preferences?

Comment 3 Nicholas Miell 2005-03-01 22:04:42 UTC
Bitstream Vera Serif and Bitstream Vera Sans.

Note that it doesn't always omit the space; the example I gave was cropped for size.

Comment 4 Jon Orris 2005-03-01 23:02:30 UTC
I've replicated this using those fonts.
Setting MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1 eliminates the problem.

Yeah, fixed in fc3 and rawhide.

Comment 9 Nicholas Miell 2005-04-20 19:43:17 UTC
Was firefox-1.0.3-1.3.1 supposed to fix this? I'm still seeing it.

Comment 10 Warren Togami 2005-09-30 19:42:07 UTC
I haven't seen this for a while. Are you still seeing this issue?
