Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 27-final by Fedora user ignatenkobrain using the blocker tracking app because:

 This is known vulnerability and SDL2 is used by applications like Steam and other games. It would be definitely nice to ship new version of Fedora without vulnerability since the fixed version exists.

Discussed during the 2017-10-23 blocker review meeting: [1]

The decision to classify this bug as an AcceptedBlocker was made as it violates the following blocker criteria:

"The release must contain no known security bugs of 'important' or higher impact according to the Red Hat severity classification scale which cannot be satisfactorily resolved by a package update (e.g. issues during installation)", as this is rated 'important' and SDL may be used during live sessions
