Latest upstream release: v1.12
Current version/release in rawhide: 1.11.0-10.fc27
URL: https://github.com/sccn/labstreaminglayer

Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy

More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring

Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream.

Based on the information from anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/9569/

One or more of the specfile's Sources is not a valid URL so we cannot automatically build the new version for you. Please use a URL in your Source declarations if possible.

This can be closed. There was a liblsl-1.12.0 rpm package in fedora. Now dropped, but that is another story. Alternative change the bug to point to version 1.13....

Updated spec for liblsl for version 1.16-1

This spec file is an update of the last available spec in fed-pkg to restore its buildability. For me it builds on fedora 38.

This spec also updates to liblsl-1.16-1.
I'll post the needed patch in a second.

The companion patch to the spec file.

This is a small patch to add a missing include.

Comment 5 Théodore Papadopoulo 2023-05-18 15:41:10 UTC
Since liblsl is ORPHANED, I might take over its maintenance. But I will need some help at the beginning to understand the arkanes of package maintenership.
