Previously, when the memberOf plug-in was enabled and users and groups were stored in separate back ends, a deadlock could occur. An unnecessary global lock has been removed and, as a result, the deadlock no longer occurs in the mentioned scenario.

Looks good Build tested: 389-ds-base-1.3.6.1-24.el7.x86_64 Using steps from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1501058#c0 I can no longer reproduce the deadlock with the fixed package. Acceptance tests and replication tests are also passing. Marking as VERIFIED. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
