The filtering should stay as the last one selected to maintain uniformity with other main tabs, if you select "OVF store" for instance and move to another tab, when you return to the disks tab the filtering should stay on "OVF store". There was a bug indeed though that the button remained selected yet the filtering was reset, this was fixed The filtering stays the same as for the last choice of content type. This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.2.4 release, published on June 26th 2018. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.2.4 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report. |
Created attachment 1343589 [details] screenshot Description of problem: Inside the 'Disks' tab, if I will select different filtering under content type (e.g. 'Memory Dump'), it will filter by that content type. After moving to different tab (e.g. 'Virtual machines') and back to 'Disks' tab, the default filtering will be 'All' but the "selected" button will remain the last one ('Memory Dump') Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-engine-4.2.0-0.0.master.20171023193344.gitc3b23f6.el7.centos How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select different filtering method under disk tab 2. Move to different tab 3.
