Description Jason Dillaman 2017-11-01 19:07:07 UTC
Description of problem:
The RBD backend driver for tcmu-runner should decode the device class associated with a pool (if any) and if the pool is associated to an "ssd" device class, propagate that status through to the SCSI INQUIRY command response.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.3

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. $ sg_inq --page 0xb1 /dev/sg0

Actual results:
"Medium rotation rate is not reported"

Expected results:
"Non-rotating medium (e.g. solid state)"
