Description Charles Barto 2017-11-11 21:31:44 UTC
Description of problem:
I simply tried to add my domain account to a fedora 27 machine
This happens when I try and join a windows domain.

SELinux is preventing net from 'map' accesses on the file /var/lib/samba/lock/gencache_notrans.tdb.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that net should be allowed map access on the gencache_notrans.tdb file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'net' --raw | audit2allow -M my-net
# semodule -X 300 -i my-net.pp
