Description Kavita 2017-12-04 07:09:02 UTC
Description of problem:

Issue found that upgrade failed at candlepin db password step.

There is a validation step which runs via cpdb and is already packaged with candlepin. so candlepin guys will backport this following command into 6.2.z:

$ cpdb --validate

With reference to BZ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1519904,
we will need a Foreman Maintain check that will check exit code for this validation step command via cpdb.
If there is a non-zero code then block upgrade, otherwise continue.
