Section Number and Name: 6, Replacing the Primary Gluster Storage Node

Describe the issue: I see that replacing primary nodes has steps to remove the node first then Replace bricks on this node with the new node which is incorrect. When user tries to remove a node from UI which has bricks and if the bricks are associated with the volume , removal of node fails.

Suggestions for improvement: Step 21 in chapter 6 has to be come before step 28.

Gobind, can you provide inputs on Comment 4

Comment 6 Gobinda Das 2018-02-16 07:36:01 UTC
Yes the order should be:

1. Replace engine volume brick
2. Remove the old node
3. Remove metadata from the previous host
