Doc Text:
Configuring VDO at deployment time lets you reduce the amount of storage space required for data. You can configure Gluster bricks to use deduplication and compression, and monitor and configure notifications for VDO capacity usage in Cockpit, so that you know when your storage is running out of space.

Comment 3 SATHEESARAN 2018-02-28 11:44:51 UTC
This can't be ON_QA, as the dependent bug BZ 1523562 is in assigned state.

Comment 4 SATHEESARAN 2018-04-04 11:57:07 UTC
Verified with RHV 4.2.2-6 and cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.11.19 with gdeploy-2.0.2-22.el7rhgs

Dedupe and compression features could be enabled for the gluster bricks
