Fixed In Version: Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
Previously, the depmod tool was not able to find the kernel modules specified through the override directive. Consequently, the modules.dep list of module dependencies was not overridden by the new external module but still contained the original kernel module instead. This update fixes the depmod_module_is_higher_priority() function in depmod, and the modules.dep now contains the new kernel module as expected.
