Previously, if a block volume of size greater than default block hosting volume size was requested, the request failed with "Error: Default Block Hosting Volume size is less than block volume requested". With this fix, block volumes of size greater than default block hosting volume size are created if sufficient space is available and no error message is displayed.

Description Raghavendra Talur 2018-01-16 05:24:21 UTC
In a setup with 3 block hosting volumes of size 500GiB, 500GiB and 2048 GiB, if a blockvolume of size 1500GiB is requested it fails with "Error: Default Block Hosting Volume size is less than block volume requested"

This is because requested size is being compared with default(note: not max) size of block volumes.

Updated doc text in the Doc Text field. Please review for technical accuracy.

Comment 12 John Mulligan 2018-09-07 17:56:10 UTC
I think there's a typo in the Doc Text: "nor error message is displayed." -> "no error message is displayed."

Thankyou.
