Log of the regression tests
Description of problem: When the kernel regression tests are run on this machine the following test fails every time. "Starting test ./default/paxtest
Main executable randomisation (PIE) randomness is less than 28 bits (25)".
This machine is updated daily via "sudo dnf upgrade --refresh"
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Linux 4.14.13-300.fc27.x86_64 x86_64
Older version of Linux have shown this same problem on this machine.
How reproducible:
Every time the regression test is run.
Steps to Reproduce:
With no applications running: At the command line:
1. CD kernel-tests
2. ./runtests.sh
3.
Actual results:
The default/paxtest will be listed as failed
Expected results:
The default/paxtest to be listed as pass

My test logs are uploaded via FAS. I rated this as "Low" because it does not keep this system from being used, but I believe this may have a negative impact on security.
We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. As kernel maintainers, we try to keep up with bugzilla but due the rate at which the upstream kernel project moves, bugs may be fixed without any indication to us. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 27 kernel bugs.
Fedora 27 has now been rebased to 4.15.3-300.f27. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.
If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
