on exiv2 0.26 (the latest version):
This issue is discovered with UBSAN.

there is an integer overflow in the floatToRationalCast function (src/types.cpp), which can be triggered by a crafted tiff file with command: exiv2 -pt $POC

Error message:
src/types.cpp:653:43: runtime error: negation of -9223372036854775808 cannot be represented in type 'long int'; cast to an unsigned type to negate this value to itself
