Description Germano Massullo 2018-01-24 16:00:53 UTC
Description of problem:
Personal reminder.
Implement centos-release-scl and devtoolset-7-toolchain usage to bring gcc >= 5.0 into build root.
gcc >= 5.0 is a minimum requirement for darktable 2.4.

https://src.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/chromium.git/tree/chromium.spec
seems to be a good example of devtoolset-7-toolchain usage

spec file I am working on:

Comment 3 Germano Massullo 2018-01-24 23:10:03 UTC
Rex Dieter told me that scl's devtoolset is not available in epel.
More infos should be available in epel-devel archives.
Copr instead should not have such limitation

Comment 5 Germano Massullo 2018-03-10 12:49:31 UTC
Oliver, when you will have some free time, could you please investigate on devtoolset6 usage, in order to be able to use gcc >= 5?
The mailing list discussion has reached some interesting points

Best regards
