Description Sandro Bonazzola 2018-02-05 15:57:28 UTC
Description of problem:
ovirt-engine-phantomjs 2.1.1 fails to build on Fedora >= 27 which we are targeting for 4.3 cycle.

Example of failure is in http://jenkins.ovirt.org/user/sbonazzo/my-views/view/Builders/job/ovirt-engine-phantomjs_4.2_build-artifacts-fc27-x86_64/1/console

If it may help, according to http://phantomjs.org/ 2.1.3 is available.

Actually, phantomjs is now dead and we'll not need to maintain this in fc27+. Do I need to do anything?

Dead meaning we don't need it anymore so we can drop all the jobs and remove it from master / 4.3 release?

Indeed. We never actually used this package, and now we've decided not to in the future since phantomjs itself will stop being maintained. So we can remove everything.

I'll do it. Thanks.

Sandro, is there anything to QA here, or can we close this?

Comment 5 Sandro Bonazzola 2018-02-20 09:30:49 UTC
I think we can close. Thanks.
